Donald E. Thornton is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Green Tech Ventures, a "Green Technology Advocacy", "Marketing" and "Consulting" firm. Mr. Thornton is also the Founder of B.U.I.L.D. Management, LLC, which is a marketing and consulting firm of which targets the Land Development and Construction industries.

Mr. Thornton set out to CO-create a "Green Technology Focused Venture" beneficial to inventors with his Los Angeles, California, Las Vegas, Nevada and Akron, Ohio based colleagues. Their mission is to CO-create "Green Technology Funding and Investment Opportunities" for Green Tech Inventors, Designers and Engineers. Don first began an interest in "Green Initiatives in 1990 with his "Earth Productions" project shown HERE.

Don was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, July 29, 1955 where he resides today. Don studied Graphic Design at Akron Central-Hower in Ohio, where he graduated in 1973. Don earned a full scholarship to play basketball at Fairmont State in West Virginia where he majored in Fine Arts. Don transferred to Defiance College during his sophomore year where he increased his Business and Marketing studies while continuing his Fine Arts education. He went on to become a 1976 first team All-District, first team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-American, NAIA.

With the support of Realty and Land Development associates that promote the benefits of "Joint Economic Collaborations", Don established B.U.I.L.D., Management, LLC in July 2004. His goal is to help boost "Green Job Creation", increase "Minority Inclusion" and promote "Urban Economic Growth" for under-served and disenfranchised markets.

Mr. Thornton has over 30 years experience as an exceptionally gifted Graphic Artist, Designer and Marketing Consultant. Don spent almost 9 of those years in Los Angeles working as the Art Director, Assistant Marketing Director and Sr. Vice President for the Hollywood based, New Concept Marketing Services Incorporated under the tutelage of the critically acclaimed California Marketing Consultant, Willie James. Mr. James is the President of Green Tech Ventures, CA, Incorporated and Founder and CEO of New Concept Marketing Services Incorporated.

At New Concept Marketing, under the direction of Mr. James, Don created and/or CO-created the Marketing Plans and the Art Direction on behalf of several for-profit and non-profit corporations. His projects included Independent Video and Film Work Productions, Independent Recording Projects, Independent Public Access Television Productions and Urban Community Volunteer Programs.

During his professional tenure in California, Don founded and established Don't Give Up!, Incorporated in November of 1993 as a tax exempt nonprofit 501 (C)(3) Human Crisis Organization. The Mission of Don't Give Up!, was to "Rally Support, Create Awareness and Help Raise Money" on behalf of "Victims of Human Crisis".
